*** FEATURING OUR LOVE VEGAN BAR ***

01.jpg

You can’t get better than an American diner milkshake. Extra large, sweet, creamy and delicious. This recipe is a lot healthier than a regular American milkshake. First you will swap the chocolate flake for one of our Love Vegan bars, this will ensure that you get lots of nutritional benefits, and it will keep you fuller for longer. Secondly you’ll use plant based milk, if you choose almond it only has around 20 calories per glass and thirdly you have the option of cream and caramel…see how you feel add more or less to suit your cravings!

I hope you love this as much as we do

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cacao powder

1-2 teaspoons of a sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, agave, sugar)

1 cup plant-based milk

1 Love Vegan bar of choice

Vegan squirty cream

Vegan caramel sauce

1 paper or reusable straw

Method

  • Mix the cacao and sweetener with a little plant-based milk in a large diner style glass until you have a smooth consistency

  • Add the plant based milk slowly and continue to stir. (leave about an inch gap from the rim of the glass

  • Cut 1 Love Vegan bar in half (length ways) and squish them together until you get a long thin bar. (pinch a little off the end-this will be used to sprinkle on the top.

  • Add the squirty cream and drizzle with caramel sauce

  • Pop the vegan bar into the glass at an angle so it stays in place

  • Crumble the extra piece of the love vegan bar onto the cream

You could also warm the milk to make a hot chocolate too
